4/15/24-Clara’s personality is coming out and she is a fun and sweet girl! She gets very excited when she sees me and has been happy to meet new people and dogs. She did well on her first walk and enjoyed meeting the neighbors. She has been sleeping through the night and has had a clean crate in the morning. We are working on house training as she gets so excited about playing outside she sometimes forgets that she is supposed to be going potty as well. She will get it soon, she is still very young and adjusting to her new environment. She loves to cuddle on the couch with her dog brother and me, and we love it too!

4/13/24-Clara is doing so well adjusting to her new life of freedom! She is a sweet girl and a very good puppy. She loves to run around and explore the backyard. She is starting to show interest in toys and treats. She will not get on the couch herself, but if I pick her up she will snuggle right in! She is going to make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.

4/12/24-Clara is a sweet girl who is adjusting well to life in her foster home. She loves to explore the backyard and run and play. She slept for 6 hours in her crate last night and it was clean when I got her out. She is learning that the backyard is for pottying as well as playing. She had a bath today (she was not a fan) but she loved being brushed. She likes the other dogs in the house and hasn’t paid any attention to the cat. More updates to come as she continues to adjust to her new life and her personality begins to shine through.

4/11/24-Clara is a beautiful 14 week old female white & black Portuguese Water Dog puppy. She came into rescue tonight along with her 5 littermates from a puppy mill as they just got too old to sell. She had no health issues seen at her vet check today. We estimate she will be about 35 lbs when full grown. She is very sweet and is starting to adjust to home life pretty well. More pics to come once she gets a bath and brush!
