MEET RORY

4/29/24-Rory has settled well over the weekend. She had yet another bath (thanks Nancy for the fabulous soap) and lots of mattes cut out. She was dropped off this AM for her spay but wasn’t a fan of the car or maybe just leaving another safe space & got carsick, despite doing so well on the transport to us Saturday. Did well with her spay but her teeth were so bad they did a dental cleaning & had 4 loose teeth pulled as well. 

 She LOVES attention and pets and does the typical Aussie nudge so you don’t stop. She has mostly ignored my dog but a couple of low growl / grumbles toward him when it comes to feeding time. We’ve been feeding in her crate so she knows her chow is safe but she is doing a lot of “burying” and saving for later. Hopefully will change once she knows food is now regular! She was definitely being fed though because I think she’s a tad on the “could lose a few pounds for her joint health” side. LOL This means she is actually a mini aussie once she loses the extra weight. More updates as she recovers & she will be ready to go home soon.
