6/28/24-Clair went to the groomer today. Wow a different doggy. She did great. She also spent the night in the kennel as we were gone all day yesterday and didn’t want to leave the pups in crate for that long. She did okay. She is doing better on the leash . And just overall doing better especially now that she can see what’s going on. Lol
6/21/24-Clair is doing better every day. She is a love bug when I am sitting down . She will get up and sit with me but otherwise she is afraid to get too close. She is still very skittish. She goes in her crate now & comes out better too. She will need an adopter that is patient with her as she will take time to get use to new things. She has not had any more potty accidents in the house. She gets groomed next Friday, so pics to come . And she will be spayed July 1st.
6/12/24-Someone had a bath!! She did great in the tub and I even used the hair dryer on her. I held her on my lap. She was nervous but did great!. She is doing a little better everyday.
6/10/24-Due to vet backups we were not able to get Clair’s spay date until Monday 7/1 & she will be ready to go home soon after that. Poor honey is so afraid of everything right now, but taking one day at a time. Having a few potty accidents but mostly going outside. Not fond of the crate but okay once in it. She is sweet & good with kitties too.I am taking her to groomer on 6/28 unless they can get he in sooner to make her all pretty.
6/8/24-Clair is settling in at her foster home after her transport today. She likes my dog Jameson and the kitties. She is so sweet. Updates to come.
06/06/24-Clair is a beautiful 2 1/2 year old Mini Bernedoodle (Miniature Poodle/Bernese Mountain Dog) that came in from a commercial breeder as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks her transport & temporary foster volunteers. She has an ear infection she is being treated for & we are working on getting her a spay date asap. Once she is spayed & we get to know her a little bit more she will be ready to go home.
