1/13/21-Brody had his neuter today & is resting quietly. Vet said his ears are clear. I am still treating his front paws between his toes-vet said they look better though. Brody is a wonderful little love bug. He is beginning to understand the meaning of no & is also doing great with potty training. He will bark when he needs to go out. He is good with my dog & my dog is fine with him. My dog is not a playful dog at 10 though. They go outside together and there has not been any issues. Brody loves attention & will follow anyone who gives him attention. Will you be his new buddy?
12/30/21-Brody is doing great! He got to spend more time with my granddaughter who is 8. They played together wonderfully. She has 3 dogs at home so she is experienced. His ears and feet are better after his treatments. He will be neutered soon & then he will be ready to go home!
12/18/21-Brody is busy keeping me on my toes. He likes to tear things up. I am closely supervising and teaching him NO. He is no longer marking in the house and is good about doing his business outside. Vet appointment yesterday revealed double ear infection and infected sores between his toes on front paws. I am treating those daily.
He weighs 48 lbs. Neuter scheduled for Jan 13, 2022 & he will be ready to go home after that. He is eating and drinking without any problems. Just messy. He loves attention and eats it up.
12/8/21-Brody is settling in at his foster home & he is now eating and drinking. I had to use a pie plate to get him to eat. He loves attention. The strength in his back legs is improving. He easily walks up and down three steps now. Brody has an appointment with our vet the end of next week to get his neuter scheduled asap. More updates soon on this great boy!
12/5/21-I picked Brody up 12/4/2021 after his journey with some special transport volunteers. He really wants attention and loves to be petted. This is my first foster and first male dog so it is a learning experience. I have a spayed female dog in the house so his natural thing is to mark right now.
Today he was being extra silly with rolling on his back in the family room. I managed to get him to eat a bit but he loves to dump his dish. He uses his head like a bulldozer. He has moved the barrier I put in place and tried to get his head between my two fences. I now have a gate in place to be tested. He will be neutered & brought up to date on his shorts soon. 12/3/21-Brody the Beabull (English Bulldog/beagle mix) was retired from breeding from a puppy mill after he was no longer useful to them. He’s spending the night at a temporary foster home until he can be moved to his foster home in the morning. He was very dirty & stinky so he had a bath & he did great in the tub. The report we received is this boy is sweet & he’s a big boy! Updates from his foster home soon.
