9/13/24: Siggie did really well with her spay surgery. They did find an infection in her ears which will be treated with drops for the next 10 days. She will be back to top form soon and in a couple of days she can go to her new home!

9/8/24-Siggie has continued to be a trouble-free ray of sunshine. She has been enjoying walks with the kids, naps on the dog pillow, and playing in the yard. She has discovered peanut butter in a kong toy, which is her new favorite treat. She has the cutest little wiggle when she is excited. She is still cautious meeting new people and a little shy, but is comfortable as can be and a love with our whole family (dogs and humans). Siggie is true best friend material. She is a very well behaved girl & incredibly gentle. She is scheduled to be spayed this Friday, September 13 and will be ready for her new home soon after.

8/24/24-We have had another wonderful week with Siggie. She is having a great time romping in the backyard with our dogs and going on leash walks in the neighborhood (she is great with new dogs and friends that come to meet her). She is still as sweet and gentle as can be in the house. The first week or two, she had a little bit of a hard time sleeping downstairs in her crate at night (she would bark for a while), but she seems totally adjusted now. She is a perfect family dog!

8/15/24-Siggie has been with us for nearly a week and is doing so well. It is clear she does not have much experience living indoors (she is an expert nest builder in our bushes, so we are thinking she did a lot of sleeping outdoors), but she is learning quickly and taking to it so well. She has had zero accidents in the house and we have not encountered any behavioral issues (no destructive chewing or getting into things she is not supposed to). Siggie is simply a sweet, chill dog. She enjoys sleeping on a pillow, hanging out in the backyard, and getting belly rubs. Right now she is cautious meeting new people, but warms up quickly. She is great with the kids and our dogs—no aggression whatsoever. Additionally, she is quite clever. We have a rope with bells on the door that the dogs can use to tell us they want to go out and she started using that right away. We adore her and know she will make the most wonderful addition to a dog-loving home. She loves to spend time outside. She did see one cat very briefly at her overnight spot Saturday morning and didn’t have any reaction to him so she will probably be ok with dog savvy cats.

8/10/24-Siggie the Beabull arrived to us this morning via a wonderful volunteer transport team. She is already showing us how incredibly outgoing, loving, and affectionate she is—no shyness here! Lots of kisses and running to us for reassurance and cuddles. She loves our three kids (ages 8-10) & is patient as she gets to sniff and gradually meet our two dogs. It’s day one and already evident that Siggie will be the perfect best friend for some lucky person or family. Siggie looks like the beagle side of her genetics mostly won out! She is a bit longer and bigger than a typical beagle and has a very cute, short, and actively wagging bulldog tail. She is scheduled to be spayed on Friday September 13 and will be ready for her new home soon after that.

08/08/24-Siggie is a sweet 5 year old female Beabull(English Bulldog/beagle). She came in from a commercial breeder as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue today thanks to her transport & temporary foster volunteers.
