8/20/24-Charlie is a beautiful brindle boy who is a sweet lovey with very high energy.  He will do best with someone who can handle his high energy.   A fenced yard would be ideal along with walks and maybe runs.  He is not thrilled with the crate but he is getting better.  We give him treats and chew toys every time we put him in so he doesn’t think of it as punishment.   He can go in and out of it when he wants while we are home, I don’t feel like he would do damage to the house but we have 4 dogs of our own dogs so crating him (only while we are out) is best for us.  He’s only had one accident in the few days we had him, so he’s pretty well potty trained.  He does well on walks but needs some work when walking past other dogs and cats, mostly just overly interested.  He  gets along well with our 4 puppies but does not have a sense of personal space with them! LOL .We are working on getting him to gain some weight, he is very thin with ribs and hip bones showing.  At the end of the day he loves to curl up and snooze next to us while relaxing.  Charlie would make a great addition to an active family.

8/17/24-Temp fostering this lazy goof was a pleasure! He might be pint sized, but he has a huge heart full of love to give! He was neutered yesterday, only weighs 50 lbs right now & has an ear infection being treated for.  He moved to his foster home today & will be ready to go home soon!

8/14/24-Meet Charlie Brown! This boy won’t be homeless long! He’s an absolute sweetheart. Charlie Brown is now sound asleep. He’d rather lay on the hardwood floors close to me than on the bed or couch. He wants to play and tries to engage with my cat. The cat, not so much yet. LOL. No signs of aggression, he would do fine with dog savvy cats.

08/13/24-Charlie Brown is a handsome very sweet about 2 year old male brindle & white boxer. He was found as a stray & no one claimed him. He is spending a few days at a temporary foster home so he can get neutered nearby this Friday 8/16. On Saturday he moves to his foster home & once we get to know him more he will be ready to go home.
