8/28/24-Diva is doing great! The first few days after her surgery, she wasn’t feeling well, but now she has fully recovered and is back to normal. Last week, we all stayed at my brother’s house while he was on vacation, and I was pet-sitting for him. Diva met his 9-month-old English Bulldog, and they got along very well, bonding quickly. He has a big backyard, so all the dogs really enjoyed it. Diva also met my 5-year-old nephew, and she loved him. She likes other dogs but also enjoys having all the attention to herself. Diva is a very sweet dog and would do great with a family, whether they have kids or not, and whether they have another dog or not.  Diva hasn’t been around cats but I think she would be fine with them because I’ve seen her around bunnies outside, and she doesn’t seem to care for them. Diva is ready to go home!

8/20/24-Meet Diva! This sweet girl has quickly shown herself to be a loving and playful companion. She adores giving kisses and is great with other dogs, enjoying every moment of playtime. Diva is a little unsure when the leash is first put on, but once it’s on, she walks beautifully. She hasn’t had any accidents indoors. While she’s not a fan of getting into her crate, once inside, she settles down and sleeps peacefully through the night.Yesterday, we went for a walk, and as we headed back, a thunderstorm rolled in. I expected Diva to be frightened, but this brave girl didn’t bat an eye at the loud thunder—nothing seems to faze her! Diva will be spayed tomorrow (8/20) and will be ready to find her forever home in just a few days. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and resilient companion, Diva might be the perfect addition to your family!

8/19/24-Diva is doing great & would be perfect for a family with a backyard or a very active lifestyle. She has a lot of energy! We went for a 2 hour walk before it started to rain. My dog went straight to bed after the walk and she’s still full of energy. LOL

8/17/24-Little Miss Diva made it safely to me today to stay overnight until her foster mom can pick her up tomorrow afternoon. What a sweet mini aussie girl who is also a chunky monkey, and she’s looking forward to getting a little more svelte in her figure. She has a beautiful thick blue merle coat. I’m so impressed with this Aussie girl, she wiggles all over from attention and gives lots of licky kisses and belly crawls for attention. If I didn’t have 3 of my own, I think I’d be begging to adopt her!

08/16/24-Diva is a very sweet 4 yr old mini aussie (miniature Australian Shepherd) that came in tonight from a commercial breeder thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers. The breeder just didn’t need her anymore. Updates from her foster home soon.
