12/15/2021 – Merci is a 1 year old French Bulldog from a puppy mill that was saved from a life of breeding. She arrived into rescue on Friday and after staying a few nights in temporary foster homes, she arrived yesterday at her foster home. She was greeted by her 2 new foster dog brothers and another foster mill momma staying with us. Merci is now spayed and up to date on her vaccines, because of her age, we are not sure if she ever had a litter. Merci is being treated for IBD(irritable bowel disease) and needs to gain weight. With the proper meds and food she’s receiving, she’ll be at a healthy weight in no time! 

She is a sweetheart and as much as she loves being with the other dogs, she hasn’t joined them while they are playing. She watches them cautiously, in a few days there will be no stopping her! She has already found a way to cuddle in my lap when the TV is on. She loves the attention that she receives and gives little kisses.
