12/14/24-What can I say about Miss Amelia Ear-hart….her ears are incredibly astounding and beautiful but her personality makes her a complete love bug !!!!  She fell right into place with my two boxers within seconds, she was on auto-pilot when it came to going outside to pee and poop and most importantly totally enthralled with getting loved on ad lib. Her personality and demeanor has enabled her transition to indoor/home living very easy.  Her newly acquired hobbies are watching the television, jumping our piles of 3 foot snow like a gazelle, and fluffing up the dog bed to get it just right before she lays down. EVERYONE at the vets office fell in love with her and her amazing ears. Amelia was spayed on Friday and she is ready to find her forever home. This cutie is an exceptional dog who loves to initiate wrestling/playing and will fall right into love with any family.   

12/12/24-Amelia is doing great! .lHousebreaking is going very well & she hasn’t had any accidents in the house yet.  of course I just tried to get them all out and there’s 2 feet of snow, fresh snow out my back door… She walks well on a leash, but is not obviously leash trained she has no anxiety being in a crate. The vet was closed today due to the weather so hopefully her spay tomorrow won’t be postponed. 12/10/24-Amelia is my foster and she is adorable to the hundredth power very gentle and inquisitive… She is quite the TV watcher.… She watch the bills game Sunday afternoon laying on the dog bed crouched ears up head following all the motion on the TV. She had her prespay & everybody at the vets office poked their head in to the exam room to check out her ears! LOL. Her floppy ears just stand up naturally,  I don’t think I have ever seen this happen before. The ears just add so much to her cuteness level. She gets in the play every morning for an hour or so with the other two dogs. She is definitely a keeper!

12/09/24-Yesterday Amelia spent a couple hours laying on the dog bed with her back to me and she was watching TV with her ears up. It was just so funny but every time I moved, I couldn’t get a picture of it! Lol

12/07/24-Amelia Ear-Hart is a 5yr old female boxer that came in today from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need her anymore. She arrived tonight thanks to her transport volunteer. Here is a note from that volunteer:

“I had the pleasure of picking up this sweet girl today from a commercial breeder. She is actually the sweetest most social dog I have gotten from this breeder. She is also super cute. Believe it or not, those are her natural ears. They are not cropped! LOL She is the absolute cutest thing.”

Her pre-spay appointment is on Tuesday 12/10 & she will be spayed on Friday 12/13. After that & we get to know her a little more she will be good to go to her forever home.
