1/10/25-Charlie LOVES visitors- he is so good with anyone that comes over, settles right down and just wants to be around everyone. He is confidant walking in and out of doors now, stairs are still a struggle. We have been working on sit and shake and he is very treat motivated. Took his medicine (heartgard, nexgard & “all wormer” given to all fosters) like a champ and with 0 issues. Loves to be brushed and even let me file his nails without an issue. Wants to be everywhere I am even just walking from one room to the next. He found his bark and if he sees his reflection in the mirror he will talk to himself! LOL He is ready to go to his new home.
(Since I’m a baby I need home with someone home more often. Ex: work at home, retired, at home parent, work opposite, etc)
1/07/25-Charlie loves the snow and being outside. He is no longer afraid of the doors and will wait next to it whenever he has to go outside. Right now he prefers to nap in his crate but is warming up to being a snuggler. Better apply fast as Charlie is ready to go to his new home!
01/05/25-Charlie’s personality has really came out today. He loves being outside no matter the time and will just sit and let the wind blow through his hair. He has finally picked a stuffed toy to walk around with and will bring into his crate when he is ready for a nap. So far only one accident in the house he has been doing a great job of just staring at me from across the room when he needs to go out.
Not a fan of loud cars or blow up snowmen(well, these ARE scary! Lol).
01/04/25-Charlie has warmed right up, from the first night he had no issues taking a bath or being blow dried clean. He slept through the night in the crate without a sound!
He loves to be outside and often goes to the door and just sits waiting to go out. So far he only has not liked the roomba vacuum. LOL He takes a nap in his crate without being told. Charlie is ball full of energy.
1/03/25-Charlie is a very sweet & handsome 18 week old male standard size aussie (Australian Shepherd). He came in tonight from a commercial breeder along with his brother Kodi as they just got too old to sell. Thanks go out to their transport volunteers who braved a big storm! Charlie is the smaller of the two & we estimate he will be about 55 lbs full grown.
