6/17/25-Miss Echo just checking in after my spay surgery. Everything went well and I am quickly back to my bouncing around. I figured I would let my potential new family out there know some of my favorite things.
1.) I am extremely affectionate, and I am generous with the kisses
2.) I am a very good eater, and I am not too finicky but if you want me to have steak on my kibble.. then so be it.
3.) I will go in my crate when you leave the house with a gentle nudge and I am a good girl who keeps my bed and blankets very neat.
4.) I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain… oh wait that’s a completely different website…lol
5.) I love my Foster Mom & Foster Dad and all of my doggies foster sisters and brothers so I will love your doggie babies as well
6.) I walk nicely on a leash and I like to fancy myself as the local security
7.) A bonus would be a fenced in yard to keep me safe and to keep the paparazzi away (but not required).
So if you’re interested in me, please contact the rescue and tell them that you are very interested in the most beautiful little brindle girl EVER!!!!! Love xoxo.. Echo
6/12/25-I have picked Echo up from her spay & everything went well. They didn’t say anything about hearing a heart murmur so that is great news for her. She is sulking now for sure. She said “I thought you were taking me for chicken nuggies this morning, boy was I ever wrong!”. She’s just not talking to me right now. Lol. She’s very active with my dog Cooper and she eats really well but she plays really hard with Cooper so she keeps a svelte figure. This sweet girl Echo is now ready to go to her new home.
5/6/25-Echo said to tell everyone that she loves the ground turkey added to her food. These ex-breeder mamas eat better than I do! Lol I am cleaning her ears with a solution the vet sent & applying the medicine to both of her ears. She is doing great.
5/4/25-I put her in Echo in her crate after she ate her entire breakfast without incident. She had a nice big extra thick dog bed, and she was laying in there like she was the princess of the house!!! She’s so stinking cute. When I left this morning, she was all cuddled up in the bed with my husband and all of the other doggies. Awww!
5/3/25-This girl is so sweet and beautiful. She could be Sophia Loren’s (past boxer foster) twin sister. Except Echo has an affectionate little bouncy playful side to her, which is nice. She has settled in nicely & already cuddling with my girl Snow. She’s met everyone so far and they all did their sniffing and checking each other out. She’s cuddly too. I could not get her to eat her supper. She just wanted to dump the bowl over. She licked at when I held the bowl up to her, but when I put it down on the placemat, she just wanted to tip it over and spill it all over the floor. We know these dogs get fed many different ways so it can be an adjustment at first. She’s pretty perfect!
05/02/25-Echo is a sweet 5-year-old female boxer that came in today from a commercial breeder along as they just didn’t need her anymore. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport & overnight foster volunteers. She is being treated for ear infection & her initial vet check as she came into rescue noted she may have a low grade 2 heart murmur (often there is no murmur & just stress of coming in from breeder, anxious & noise etc.). We will get a 2nd check on her heart at our other vet during her spay which we are trying to get scheduled soon.
