2/22/22-Our little Miss Polly did get to see our favorite vet this morning and no further surgery is needed for her inguinal hernia. She’s in excellent condition and is ready for her forever home.
Polly has been an excellent house guest,  No accidents, but I do take her outside often, every few hours. But still considered a work in progress.
So get your application in fast, she’s a keeper.

2/20/22-Little Miss Polly arrived into rescue yesterday, thanks to our dedicated volunteers. She rides pretty well considering she came from a puppy mill, and her days of producing litter after litter of puppies is now over. Polly is more than ready to begin her new life as a treasured family pet.  She’s happy and outgoing with people and my dogs whom she loves following around. She’s recently spayed and did have a umbilical hernia repair and 8 teeth removed, but that is not slowing this girl down.  She’ll be on antibiotics for 10 days as a result of her dental, but she’s eating and drinking and taking her meds, so proof she’s not having any problems.
The vet who spayed her did make note of a right body wall hernia which I will follow up with my vet tomorrow, as it is not something I’m familiar with.
So,  check back soon to as we get to know Polly better.
