8/8/25-These girls would be great even with young kids.  They are not snippy at all with toys or food.  Harper especially loves to cuddle. I tested them with my cat & they were both fine. Harper likes to chase birds outside though, so much fun! Lol They are good with my big and little dogs too.

8/1/25-Sophie and Harper get a short break from their e-collars. Short because then they get all rambunctious. Lol They are eating very well. So adorable. Harper found the sunken couch cushion where Charlie the Pug has left his mark. Sophie has her bone and on the lookout.

7/29/25-Sophie and Harper are recovering from their spay. Another sensitive stomach Sophie issue from the Carprofen. That medicine was stopped for both of them. They didn’t seem to be in pain at all. They are interacting more with their foster furry brothers and sister. They are more than a ready to go to their forever homes!

7/24/25-Harper is home from her spay appointment. She did well and everyone loved her. She’s ready for her forever family!!

7/20/25-Harper is doing so well. She is peepad trained. We are working on outside housebreaking. She loves snuggling and running as fast as she can outside. She’s sometimes hesitant going thrugh the doorway to go outside, but will step through with coaching. Harper’s a hoot!! That’s my dirty sock in her mouth she got caught stealing! Lol She’s very very sweet.

7/17/25-Sophie Rae and Harper have a new look thanks the Paw Wash in Oxford. How can they be even MORE adorable?? They are being spayed a week from today on Thursday 7/24. And hopefully on to their forever homes soon after that. While they were found together, I can definitely see where they would be fine on their own. Sophie would benefit if she had a furry sibling  (though not required) since she’s ALWAYS looking to play with another dog. Harper is more shy & she loves climbing on your lap. Harper would love to curl in your lap to sleep.

7/13/25-Harper & Sophie Rae have been with us since Wednesday night. They are starting to relax and show us their personalities. Harper is very affectionate. She loves to sit with you and will climb on you for kisses. She is not interested in exploring the house and is very happy to lay on the couch watching the comings and goings. She is also on high alert with noises and will bark. She is a love.
They both LOVE exploring outdoors. They are hysterical running all around-sometimes synchronized and sometimes they go their separate ways. They are working on their housebreaking skills. They will do their business outside if I time it right.

7/9/25-Harper & Sophie Rae are very sweet about 1 yr old Yorkshire terriers that were strays to a shelter we work with. No one claimed them so they came into rescue yesterday thanks to our volunteer Kristen. We assume they may be sisters as they were found together but we are not sure. They are in the same foster home right now but do not need to be placed in the same new home though. They are curious, lively girls who are already asking for attention. Both initial vet checks said they seem healthy except for being very skinny. We are working on getting them spay dates asap & once they are spayed they will be ready to go to their new homes.
