9/6/25-Berkeley is ready for a family of her own. She would do well with an active person or persons. She would love kids of own but its not necessary. We have a fenced in yard but she has been loose outside the fence and has great recall. She listens well but she needs to work on her kitchen manners. She is a foodie and will eat your sandwich if you leave it in her reach – so I’m working on “NO LEAVE IT!”. She is a very happy girl that loves being with people, very affectionate- loves to snuggle – She is a 28 pound lap dog that thinks she is a tiny yorkie like the resident dogs. Lol
9/5/25-Berkeley is ready for a family . This fun loving girl would love kids to chase around the yard . She loves to play and loves to meet new people. She is great on the leash . Berkeley loves to cuddle she thinks she’s a lap dog like the resident Yorkies. She is also not a fan of a certain TV show “Wednesday” & had words with the tv. Lol We have no idea why but she settled and watched it any ways.
8/26/25-Berkeley was spayed today & all went well. There must have been a typo at the first vet check last Friday as she actually weighs 28 lbs, still a little peanut! She is on post spay antibiotics so no infection develops. Berkeley is a little baby after getting home from the spay & cries if I don’t hold her. Poor girlie! She is now lying on top of me snoring. She will be ready for her new home in a couple of days.
8/26/25-This is my first time fostering a Mini Aussie. I see why they are such a popular breed. Berkeley is a very smart girl, she is well behaved and takes correction well. Walks good on a leash and is mostly potty trained already. Currently she is shy at first but warms up fast. Very happy girl. Very smart popular breed so get those applications in fast!
8/24/25-We have had over 100 doggie guests at our Foster B & B & Berkeley is our first Australian Shepard. After having her for 2 days I can see why the breed is so popular. She is extremely smart and a quick learner. She loves being with her people and takes redirection well. Berkeley is such a fun loving happy girl. Good with other dogs & cats. She is a petite girl with one blue eye & one brown and her coloring is beautiful . We think she may have been someone’s “farm dog” or a return to the breeder as she acts very well adjusted. She will be a great addition to one lucky family & won’t be here long so apply fast!
08/22/25-Berkeley is a beautiful little 20 lb 4 year old female red merle miniature Australian Shepherd. She came in from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need her anymore. She arrived into rescue today thanks to her transport volunteers. Her pre-spay appointment is Tuesday & she will be spayed on Wednesday 8/27 & will be ready to go home soon after that.
