10/01/25-Over the past week, Hope has made significant progress & has successfully overcome her initial apprehension about venturing outside independently. She’s now able to enter & exit through the door with ease, without encountering any difficulties. Moreover, she’s demonstrated a lively and energetic personality, characterized by her tendency to run, twirl & enthusiastically collide with objects while playing outdoors. Lol Her nighttime behavior has been exemplary, as she consistently sleeps in her own bed throughout the night. As a precautionary measure a few pee pads are placed in strategic locations, which she does utilize. The enthusiasm she exhibits upon seeing her Foster mom in the morning is genuinely heartwarming. This remarkable girl truly deserves a forever family that can provide her with the love, care & devotion she warrants. These great bichon girls are fine to go to separate homes so don’t hold back on adopting one or the other!
9/18/25-Hope is doing remarkably well. Her recovery from the spay surgery has been seamless. I observed that she is missing two middle paw pads on her hind foot, but this does not hinder her mobility. She appears to be slightly hesitant when going in and out of the door on her own, particularly on the back porch. Nevertheless, she moves effortlessly through doorways within the house, so assistance is required for outdoor transitions. We are diligently working on overcoming this challenge. Leash walking training is also underway, and although she remains calm, some nervousness is evident. Hope is a lively and playful girl. She delights in running around the yard. Her charming personality and playful nature make her a perfect fit for any family.
9/13/25-These two girls right here are hilarious I gave them both a dental stick and I guess Hope decided to let Ava chew it up and then Hope will eat the pieces! Lol
9/11/25-Following their spay surgery, Ava and Hope have returned home and are recovering. Presently, they are a bit disoriented but are doing well. Hope is wearing a pink suit, and Ava’s is purple.
9/7/25-You know who’s such good girls? I have no problem with them at all when I am at work. I watched them on the camera from work & they were sleeping next to each other. There were toys behind Ava’s head and one is in front of Hope’s face, hilarious!
9/3/25-Hope is performing exceptionally well and demonstrating significant growth in her personality. Hope is the calmer one and has a little more confidence than Ava. They’re both beautiful girls. Hope loves to be loved & she also talks to you. She has begun to emerge from her shell and showcase her true character, which is remarkably sweet. Recently, Hope underwent a grooming session and received praise from the groomer for her excellent behavior. She is indeed a very good girl who thoroughly enjoys spending time outdoors, running freely in the yard. Moreover, Hope has developed a unique habit of communicating with her human companions, often engaging in endearing conversations. Notably, when she had an accident in the kitchen, she promptly notified her caregiver by whimpering, chattering, and slightly barking, while also holding up her paw to indicate that something was amiss. I said what’s wrong & I asked her “Hope do you guys want to treat?” Upon investigation, it was discovered that she had indeed had an accident in the kitchen, she was telling me I’m so sorry but I had an accident. This incident highlights Hope’s growing confidence in herself, as she is becoming increasingly comfortable expressing her needs and wants. Although she remains slightly apprehensive around people, Hope has made remarkable progress during her time with me .Hope will be going for her spay on 9/11. After that she will be ready for her forever home. She’s very sweet.
9/2/25-My foster mom treated me to a grooming session today, and I’m feeling incredibly beautiful. -Hope
8/29/25-Hope and Ava are very good girls just went on camera to see what they were doing and they are just lying together! Awww
9/1/25-This morning, Ava and Hope greeted me with enthusiasm. It’s gratifying to see them flourish and become more outgoing. The toys gathered around them indicate they had a lively and engaging playtime.
8/26/25-Just got back from the vet with the girls. She said they look good. Their spay is not until 9/11 but I asked them to put me on for any cancellations so it may be sooner.
8/25/25-Sweet little Hope (purple or multi colored collar) is a very shy girl right now but she exhibits immense happiness whenever she sees you or engages in conversation, as evidenced by her incessantly wagging tail. Although she remains somewhat apprehensive around humans right now, she is gradually learning to feel safe. Hope is beginning to open up and display playful tendencies. Notably, I do not utilize a crate and instead provide her with unrestricted access to the house. While I am away, she effectively utilizes pee pads, and we are currently working on outdoor training during her time outside. Hope thoroughly enjoys running around the yard. Her eating and drinking habits are satisfactory, and she has developed a strong affinity for treats. I will update more as I learn about this beautiful little girl.
08/22/25-Hope is an sweet little 6 year old female bichon frise. She came into rescue today from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need her anymore. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport volunteers. She has an ear cleaner for very dirty ears, but no yeast or infection seen. Her pre-spay appointment is next Tuesday & her spay is on Thursday 9/11. Once she is spayed she will be ready to go to her new home.
