9/26/25-Emma says she is fine with cats and deer. She wants to chase squirrels when she goes out with my female because my female does when she goes out.  When she is out with my boy who is super calm and mellow & doesn’t chase squirrels, Emma could care less too! Lol

9/21/25-Emma is finally feeling like herself after her spay surgery, she had a rough time at it poor baby girl. She is back to normal and went for a long cemetary walk and she walks better than my dogs! She is great on a leash. Emma’s new game is to run back and forth from the toy basket and put the toys in her bed. I am sure she thinks they are her “babies”, awww.  This sweet girl is ready to go to her new home. 

9/7/25- Emma is doing great. She loves dogs big and small.  She likes to follow me around. She is great in a crate but does not need to be crated though. She has great house manners and will just find a spot to lay down when you are busy. 
 
9/5/25-Welcome Emma to rescue! Emma has been here a week and is coming out of her shell. She likes to hang out with everyone. She is currently being fostered with multiple dogs and does great with them all. She was a little nervous of my dad at first but now he is her new best friend. She had her pre spay appt earlier this week and everyone at the vets loved her. She got a clean bill of health will be spayed next Wednesday 9/10 & will be ready to go home soon after.  She likes hanging out in the yard and running around and sniffing. In the house she loves to cuddle up in her bed and watch tv. She is friendly with all people and will go to them for pets. 
 
From Emma: Today I had a bath. I was a little unsure but it was actually not that bad. Now I smell wonderful and the lady towel dried me off and gave me a clean new bed! I also went for a walk with my foster brother. I loved the walk we sniffed everything! The lady here says I am a good girl, she calls me good girl! I am beginning to think that is my name (lol). My nub wiggles like crazy when she says it. I am great with other dogs, people, good in a crate, potty trained, good house manners. I have everything you are looking for in a dog. 08/29/25-Emma is a beautiful 4 year old female boxer that came in today from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need her anymore. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport & overnight foster volunteers. She has her pre-spay on Wednesday 9/3 & then we should be able to schedule her spay soon after. Once she is spayed she will be ready to go home soon after that.
