11/6/25-I have nothing but spectacular things to say about Nala. She is the best guest we have ever had, she’s smart , relaxed, happy well adjusted deaf dog to grace her foster home. She loves to cuddle with me, and loves to cuddle with my dogs on the princess bed in front of the fireplace on a windy day.
10/24/25-Nala came to foster with me a week ago, and I have totally fallen in love with this happy, sweet, well adjusted girl, that came from a home that loved and took great care of her. Nala was spayed on 10/20 and is now ready for her forever home. She hasn’t met a person or human she doesn’t like, and loves to snuggle with me and my dogs as well. She likes having a securely fenced yard with space to run and have lots of outside potty access so we only have had 1 potty accident. She’s so smart. Nala does know some signs as a deaf dog, but she’s learning more and seems to love it. She also loves tennis balls, stuffy toys, soft cozy dog beds and a roaring fire. All of which she is great about sharing with my dogs.
10/19/25-Nala Nu is a sweet 3 year old DEAF boxer owner surrender that came in with Blanca & Rocky. She is a direct sibling to Blanca. Their owner originally got them when he lived in the south & recently had to move back to New York City to a small apartment. Now with no space or time for them anymore, along with financial reasons, he made the very difficult decision to surrender them to find new homes. She is being spayed tomorrow. Since she is deaf she will need home with another dog, physical fenced yard & someone home more often. Once we get to know her better Nala Nu will be ready for her new home.
