12/4/25-Mollie Rae is a 4-year old French Bulldog looking for her furever home. She is such a sweetheart. She gets along with dogs and cats. She LOVES to snuggle with her human, give kisses, and play. She rides great in the car. As much as I love this girl, I want nothing more than for her to find her family before the holidays so she can bring them as much joy as she has brought me! Read her bio
so you can see for yourself how fantastic she is! Please share with your friends so we can get this girl home for the holidays!

11/28/25-I think Mollie Rae is quite the package deal, that’s why I put a bow on her! She is recovering well from her spay. She is also doing MUCH better in the crate. I left her for longer than anticipated for Thanksgiving (8 hours) and her crate was clean, she was sitting quietly waiting for me to let her out, and she was pretty quiet the whole day. She did Houdini her way out of her surgical onesie, but when I looked at her incision it was perfectly fine! I haven’t seen her licking at it at all. She’s not a fan of the cold and snow, but who in their right mind is? Lol  That means she does her business as quick as possible! BONUS. This cutie patootie is ready to meet her furever family and share her love and shenanigans.

11/25/25-Mollie is home recovering from her spay today. She was a hit at the vet, of course. The vet tech that brought her out said even though she’s not a French bulldog person she would absolutely take Mollie home. We also met another Frenchie, Reggie, who is a former breeding dog from Pennsylvania Amish mills. Mollie stumbled up to him and greeted him even though she was still quite drowsy. Rest, relaxation, and Netflix for us tonight! She is now ready to go to her new home.

11/21/25-Mollie Rae LOVES everyone- human, canine, and feline alike! She will be spayed on November 25th & then ready for her furever home. She’s a sweetheart!

11/19/25-Mollie Rae is checking in wanting everyone to know she is doing well. Shes started to roll over on to her back after breakfast while I’m getting ready for work. She also likes to play with Gus my cat as much as he lets her. He has FINALLY met his match! Lol She was modeling her recovery suit that I ordered for her since her spay is coming up next week. Not sure if she is a fan of it or not. What do you think?  She has been better in her crate during the day. Not AS vocal, but still barks. It’s not nonstop though. She is always quiet and calm and sitting when I come home and will patiently wait for me to let her out. She runs right for the door to go outside to potty. She’s doing really well with potty training. No accidents since our last update! Mollie is a gem & ready to go home after her spay!

11/10/25-Mollie has been doing well. Potty training is coming along. She runs right to the door when she is let out of her crate to go outside. When I’m home, I let her out every few hours. She can go about 5 hours in the crate without an accident. She is not a fan of her crate but goes in with a treat tossed in it. She barks for the first 30 minutes and then sporadically throughout the day. Mollie loves toys almost as much as cuddling with her human. She does play with the resident dog, but they are not attached at the hip. When Mollie is on my lap in typical Frenchie fashion she will get a little attitude with my dog and cats if they come near us. I always tell her no and stop and it is not an issue. My dog is submissive though. I am not alarmed by it at all because as you can see from photos, she likes dogs and cats. I can’t stress enough Mollie would be fine with dog savvy cats. She doesn’t bother my females as much as my male cat. When I tell her to stop, she does. Mollie finished her antibiotics and the neck abscess is gone! I will keep monitoring it until her spay later this month. Her itchy feet are much better, too! This girl is so ready for her furever home as soon as she is spayed.

10/29/25-Good golly Miss Mollie! This girl is a gem. She is the most well-adjusted female ex-breeding dogs I have ever fostered. She loves playing – with cats, dogs, humans, or by herself. Toys are a must for this girl for when she has to entertain herself. The abscess on her neck is healing & shrinking with antibiotics. Vet did a check on it and no suspicious cells were found! Yay! Mollie gets foot soaks for her itchy feet. Lots of head scratches (her favorite) and she is a very good girl in the tub. House training is coming along. She knows to go potty when she’s outside. She hasn’t mastered holding it until we go outside so there have been a couple accidents, but honestly, not many at all in the week or so since I’ve had her. She tolerates her crate, but can be vocal in it depending on what is going on around her. Mollie loves to snuggle right up to you in bed. Like, can’t move snuggle up and she enjoys spooning too. Lol She is so loving and sweet with everyone she meets, giving out kisses like it’s her full-time job.  This girl is so much fun to have around!

10/21/25-Mollie Rae is still very jumpy and excited to see me & other people. Even though she’s a small breed, she is solid and all that weight is coming at you. Lol It might be a little too much for a younger kids until she’s trained not to do that. It took a few days for Mollie Rae & my standard poodle GiGi to get in sync with each other. Day 1, Mollie wanted to play but not Gigi. Day 2, Gigi wanted to play but not Mollie. Day 3 they were both on the same page! They had fun running around today. I’ll give another update as the week progresses.

10/19/25-Mollie Rae has the most intoxicating eyes. This full-figured gal loves to play with dogs, cats, or by herself. She does fine with cats, but like I said, she wants to play with them. She’s not aggressive, just persistent. We went for a short walk and she did really well. She is getting used to traffic. Whenever cars were driving by us, even on the other side of the street which is separated by a grassy median, she would stop and watch. She wasn’t skittish, just curious. She was excited to get pets from my neighbors and was giving kisses in return. She slept well last night and so far seems quiet in the crate when I’m gone, but I wasn’t gone long. We’ll see how she does today. She doesn’t have much of an appetite this morning. I have been putting warm compresses on her rather large abscess and she tolerates that well. I am hoping the antibiotics help her. She does paw/scratch at the area and I’m wondering if that is why there are open wounds on it. There isn’t any active discharge and it does feel pretty solid. She is the absolute sweetest dog.

10/18/25-From Mollie Rae’s overnight volunteer: Ms Mollie Rae did wonderful last night and this morning-she ate, drank, and went potty in the yard. She also slept all night in the crate next to us without a peep! She’s a sweet girl!

10/17/25-Mollie Rae is a beautiful 4 year old French Bulldog. She came in today from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need her anymore. She arrived safely into rescue today thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers. She has a big lump on her neck that may be just an abscess. The initial vet sent her with antibiotics to see if it helps clear it up. Due to vet backups she won’t be spayed until Tuesday 11/25. We will also be checking with this second vet to see what they think about the mass on her neck. Once she is spayed she will be ready to go to her new home.
