3/01/26-Cher is still waiting for her new home. We have her adoption fee now partially sponsored by great people donating. We are hoping it will help her find her new home.

2/22/26-Cher is awesome. She did so well at the bowling alley for Groff’s annual charity event.  A portion of the $ is being donated to SCBR. Cher got so bored even with all the loud noise she took a nap in her stroller! Lol

2/21/26-We are babysitting Cher while her foster mom is on a work trip. She is a little nervous being in a strange place but is jumping up on our laps on her own. She is getting along great with the three other dogs & cat in the house. She definitely gravitates towards males first but will come to me by default. She is such a good girl at 12 months she is over the worst the puppy phases. She will make someone a great companion
2/2/26-Cher has got a great disposition. She is a happy, young dog. She LOVES to sleep on a lap. Also non-shedding. We can’t believe no one has snagged this cute puppy up!

1/24/26-It’s 3 a.m. here in NY. I got up, made coffee & let Cher out to go potty. After she runs in, looks for my husband, jumps on him & cuddles by his head. She loves him!

1/23/26-Cher is doing fine after her spay. Her improvement from 1/11 to now amazes me. I’ve never seen a pup raised like she was to be now a house dog that loves playing with my dog & to be held. In just 2 weeks!

1/19/26-Cher is now playing with my cattle dog! It only took 7 days to get to this point. Cher is having fun too! She was spayed today & is now ready for her new home!

1/18/26-Cher gets along great with my Cattle Dog. She wants to play, but doesn’t know how so we are teaching her! She is being spayed tomorrow & will be ready to go home soon after.

1/14/26-We’ve had Cher for 3 days now. NICE PUP! Still terrified to come out of her little area by herself, we have to pick her up. She loves to be petted & licks your hand because she wants more. Will sit on our lap contently & be carried around. Loves her puppy food & we use it as treats & she eats from your hand. Barks when she needs to go to the bathroom & barks at the door when done. Has not gone in the house, yay! Her bark is not annoying LOL! The tick borne infection she has is anaplasmosis which the antibiotics she is on will take care if that. Also, a plus, she’s got a non-shedding coat. Her hair feels like a West Highland terriers. Her spay is next Monday & then she will be ready for her new home!

1/12/26-Cher had her pre-spay appointment today. Everything was great and she enjoyed the cheese snacks the vet gave out. She was positive for one of the tick borne diseases (not contagious) so she is now on antibiotics for that.

01/11/26-Cher is an beautiful about 11 month old female puggle (pug/beagle)/terrier mix rescued from an overcrowded backyard breeder along with several other puggle puppies. She has arrived safely today thanks to her transport volunteers. We have had many others in past from this breeder & they have all been very sweet & great dogs. She has her vet checkup & shots on Monday 1/12 & her spay on following Monday 1/19. After that she will be ready to go to her new home.
