6/15/26-This girl arrived here Saturday. She was surrendered to a shelter and SCBR jumped in and pulled her and two others last week.  Bo Peep “Peepers” has been with be almost 48 hrs. She is a fantastic, well adjusted little girl. She seems to be house broken, gets along with the other household pets (cat & dog). She loves attention!!! She walks on a leash.

6/13/26-Bo Peep has arrived to her foster home. Updates soon!

6/7/26-Bo Peep is at her temporary foster home until her transport this coming weekend. This little is personality plus!! She is a confident girlie and at just 6 lbs, she is not afraid of my 70 lb boxer boy! She doesn’t play with him yet but doesn’t mind him either. I do think she would like to hang with our resident female dog, but our girl could care less. Lol Lil Bo Peep is very vocal – she will make this cute little “chittering” sound when something is bothering her such as noises outside or something on the TV. She LOVES attention and instantly bonded to me. She follows me around and loves to be picked up & will bark to ask! She doesn’t have to ask frequently though – when she looks up at you with her big soulful eyes, I can’t resist scooping her up for a snuggle! She also loves to nap on the couch with us or her friend Ted who we took from the shelter too. I think she is very smart & sensitive as she was very concerned when my husband clipped Ted’s nail too short. She came very close to see what we were doing and didn’t make a peep while we were tending to Ted. She is mostly attention motivated, doesn’t seem to care about treats and doesn’t eat much so we leave her food in her crate to “graze”. And while she prefers to be stuck to you like glue, she will settle in her crate at night to sleep. She’s such a happy little girl, always prancing around with her puppy ears forward and tail held high & constantly wagging. I’d keep her if I could!! BONUS – Bo Peep has had NO accidents in the house!

6/5/26-Bo Peep is a sweet little Yorkshire terrier mix that came into rescue tonight with Ted a silky terrier mix from a great shelter we work with. We say mix for both as without DNA tests by new owners we don’t know if they are purebred. They originally came in as strays but the shelter found the owner & got a little more info. Apparently the owner has many children and the fence gate was always left open. They have been captured by the shelter 5 times at least! The owner finally decided to surrender when they were captured last week because she does love them and did not want them to be hit by a car. I can tell they were loved for sure. The shelter said the owner spent a fortune on them…probably on reclaim fees. They both are very happy dogs, he is extremely food motivated where she prefers lovins. Neither will be in rescue long for sure!
