7/25/26-This makes my heart happy.  Bronx is acting more and more like a boxer and I can’t tell you how beautiful that is. He is now starting to run in the backyard like ours do.  He actually grabbed a toy and ran.  Yes it was for 2 seconds but he did it!!! Bronx needs to go to a house with a man who will give him attention, love and affection.  Clearly whoever he was with before was a male and loved him.  When my husband leaves he lays at the back door waiting for him to come back.  He knows basic commands and has developed a love for rotisserie chicken. Lol This boy is very special to us and to see him coming out of his shell…we could not ask for more for him. 

7/12/26-Unfortunately after a couple of days at his new home Bronx is back to his foster home today looking for a new home.  His new family was devastated as they loved him already but he was showing protection over the special needs child in the home.  His Mom didn’t want to chance Bronx getting more protective. Bronx had not shown this protectiveness in his foster home or original home so we feel Bronx may sense the child “needs protection” in his mind & showing that energy.  For this reason we feel he would be better in a home with kids 12 or older.  
 
7/8/26-Bronx was adopted!

7/3/26-Look who wants attention!!!!  Da Bronx!!! He now goes to my husband looking for love, and we could not be happier!!  This gentle soul is ready for his furrever home and you will not find a better boxer anywhere!! He’s such a love!!!

7/1/26-Available for adoption:  one pillow hog that looks like a boxer. Bronx loves a human bed & pillows now!  View the evidence as he cuddles with MY pillow while I am at work. Lol
He loves cottage cheese.  He loves hamburger.  He now loves hugs and kisses.  Love.  That’s the best word to use to describe this boy. He is truly da best.
 
6/30/26-This boy Bronx is the absolute epitome of sweetness.  There is not a better Boxer in this world.  If you’re looking for the best companion, the sweetest dog and no zoomies Bronx will fit that perfectly.  He is just wonderful.
6/22/26-As far as boxers go, they don’t get much easier than Bronx.  He has blended in beautifully with our pack.  Bronx loves sleeping in bed and he is particularly attached to my husband!  He is sweet, he is so easy and he is a true love.  We have cats in our house and he could care less.  He walks by the cats and doesn’t even give them a glance.  He is truly the total package.
 

6/20/26-Well, the first night is over and it was not exactly easy. All this big boy wants to do is sleep in bed. One of my dogs is jealous. Lol The other two dogs don’t care. We will get there. Bronx is so sweet. He does not care about the cats! he is perfect!! Oh and he likes cottage cheese. He is such a love.

6/19/26-Say hello to Bronx! He is a sweetheart of a boy. He can also be by himself or with another dog. He’s the whole package. He is fitting in fantastically with the foster pack of dogs. He’s gentle & submissive, just wants to chill with everyone and get a little exercise every day. He’s a big boy & is going to work on his Beach-body abs. Lol. He will be ready for his new home very soon after we get to know him & his needs a little better.

6/18/26-Bronx is a 7 year old handsome male boxer owner surrender coming into rescue tomorrow. The current family took him in a year ago which was supposed to temporarily for a family member going through a divorce that was losing his house. He lived the past year with a newborn & 8 yr old child & a pug & was good with all. In his previous home he was good with a cat too. This current home works full time & have a busy house with their adult daughter & young grandchildren living there too, and there is never enough time for poor Bronx. They are also in the process of moving so lots going on. They said he is healthy and loves to be active, deserves a home who will walk and play with him every day. She said he is a big lap dog and is submissive, gets bullied by & respects the female pug in the house. There has never been any issues with jumping or biting the kids. They said he is pretty good on leash, is house trained, and has full roam of house during the day & not destructive. At night they put a gate up and he stays in the sunroom to sleep. Daphne said he likes to run but sticks around the yard when the family is outside. He has good recall but the yard is not fenced so they are always watching him.
