10/16/26-It is really hard to get a picture of just Chloe without my dog, Keegan. They pal around quite a bit. I love the one of her sitting on my dog in the chair. Lol A couple of goofballs.

10/12/26-Here is some info from another of Chloe’s babysitters from this past weekend:   I only had her Friday night until Sunday morning, so just one day really.  Chloe was a wonderful houseguest. Walks are the highlight of her day. Her nose is always hard at work, thoroughly investigating every patch of grass and stray fallen leaf we pass. Yet she is wonderfully polite on the leash. There is no heavy pulling or dragging.

10/12/26-Miss Chloe is very spry for an old lady and she hops with her front feet when she is happy or excited, which has made me start calling her bunny for a nickname. She still gets the zoomies and plays often with her foster brother. She doesn’t bark and is very quiet. She does excellent with the kids (3 & 7) and does not bother the cat at all. She loves having another dog here but I think she would be fine without another dog as well. She just wants love, attention, and lots of all over  body scratches. She really is a big sweetheart.  She is crate trained and does well in it, she will walk right in if you throw in a treat for her to follow. She does have accidents in the house but she mostly goes outside. If you stay right on top of her and let her out frequently, she does even better. The babysitter this weekend said she did go potty on a puppy pad so maybe she was pad trained at some point in her life. She LOVES being outside and is happy to follow you all around the yard with or without a leash.

9/28/26-Chloe is great with kids (kids ages 3.5 & 7 years old are in foster home), does not bother the cat, and walks pretty well on a leash. She was spayed today so will be ready for her new home very soon.

9/23/26-Chloe saw our vet today & she has an old rear right leg cruciate ligament tear. Nothing to do at this stage only possible pain management in the future with new owner, if needed. They did a urinalysis & found so many crystals in her urine the vet decided she needs an xray to see if she had bladder stones. There were no bladder stones but the vet said she will need to be on Purina ProPlan UR veterinary diet prescription food the rest of her life due to the crystals. If bought via the Purina company website it’s only about $60 a month.  They also gave her antibiotics to help clear it up some.  Don’t let this deter you, Chloe is a sweet girl who deserves a great life after being used for breeding.  She gets spayed on Monday & once we get to know her a little better she will be ready for her new home.

09/18/26-Miss Chloe is an sweet 8 year old female boxer that came in today from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need her anymore. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport volunteers. She has an ear infection she is being treated for & she has blood in her urine we will have checked out at her prespay appointment. Her pre-spay is on Wednesday 9/23 & then her spay is Monday 9/28. We will update on her health after her next vet visit.
