9/15/22-Hello all…Leo and Teddy here! We thought we’d update you on how we are doing. Foster mommy says we are settling in nicely, considering everything is so new to us! For example, these things you have to climb to get into the house…I think they call them stairs. WHOA!! Those things were pretty scary when we first arrived! We have both mastered going up but Teddy seems to be a little more brave going down (show off!). We both need a little nudge going into the crate, but it’s so comfy inside that we are fine once in. Oh! And this thing they call grass? This stuff is AWESOME!! We love to roll around on it and chase each other, although foster mommy says we should be going potty on it. Why ruin our new found fave? But she is insisting so we are working in it. She calls us little cuties every day and we get lots of belly rubs and snuggles by everyone in the house. She also says that we look like we bumped our head against a freshly painted ceiling as we both have a small tuft of white hair on top. We love being together but understand that finding our furever homes is most important. We will always be with each other in heart. We will keep you posted on how we are doing…just need to steal foster mommy’s phone again! 💕
9/11/22-These beautiful, and I mean B-E-A UTIFUL boys have arrived in RI! They came pretty matted, and appear to have been residing amongst burrs which we have been brushing from their fur. They were whole new dogs after a warm tubby, playing together, and settled nicely in their crate for the night. They are looking forward to letting everyone know more about them in future days! These muffins will be BIG boys and their already noted sweet nature will undoubtedly be just as grand!
9/9/22-Leonardo is a 14 week old Standard Pyredoodle (3/4 Standard Poodle & 1/4 Great Pyrenees). He & 3 of his siblings were saved from a puppy mill as they just got too old for them to sell. He arrived safely into rescue late tonight thanks to his transport volunteers. His Mom is Kris on the site that also came into rescue as they were done breeding her. His mom is half Stsndard Poodle & half Great Pyrenees. More updates soon from his foster home.
