MEET ARTIS

10/1/22-Arti, Arti the life of the party! This boy is the sweetest Apricot poodle pup! He’s happy go lucky and is sure to be the life of any home, party or gathering! He loves people and is quick to give kisses. Loves other dogs and very simply LOVES life outside of the puppy mill. His tail is always wagging. Arti has the prettiest coat it looks like he has highlights of various colors. I’m just in love with the poodle boy!

 

Arti is quiet in his crate and seems to get the idea of doing his business outside. As a matter of fact we have only had one pee accident since his arrival and that was his first morning here. Pretty impressive for a pup of his age! He seems to know the routine now and eats like a champ. Artis is a really good boy considering his age. He doesn’t seem to be much of a chewer or mischief maker.

 

My daughter and her husband came over today and brought Arti next door to visit her friends/my neighbors. He was very friendly and playful meeting new people. He can be a bit enthusiastic when meeting people so we are working on him not jumping up for attention. Honestly though so many puppy mill dogs are terrified of humans I’m thankful Arti loves everyone her meets. Much easier to stop jumping then to have to work on socializing/trusting humans.

 

So to explain his name, I was waiting on the puppy mill transport when a friend texted me to say Coolio (singer/rapper) passed away. Coolio’s real name was Artis so we went with it. Arti is such a great pup, he is sure to make a lucky family very happy! More updates coming soon.
