10/6/22-Cosmo is growing into his personality he is doing great with his potty training and loves to go outside in the yard and play fetch with the ball . He also is really enjoying taking his walks . Cosmo loves attention and loves to be by your side and his new thing is he loves carrot sticks . That’s a plus great healthy snack . He is still learning his crate training but he is getting better and more used to being in it. Cosmo has the most beautiful eyes and personality. He does great with everyone he meets & just loves loves people. He got to meet the puppy that lives next door to me and it was a great introduction they both just played and loved each other.
10/1/22-Cosmo is doing great! He got another bath today to get rid of the mill smell. We also went for a walk and he did great walking on a leash. Still learning that we use the bathroom outside but that’s to be expected as he is a puppy . He is really starting to open up and become very puppyish and playing with every toys he can find.
9/29/22-Cosmo is super adorable & he had a bath last night. He will get another one probably in a day or two as he’s quite stinky from living in the mill. We had a long first night as he just kept crying & he wants to be right by your side. Probably misses his siblings but he’s great with my little dog Bella and my cat. He’s a very playful puppy but still very unsure about things as he is learning . I will update more as I learn more about him.
9/28/22-Cosmo is a handsome 17 week old purebred chocolate parti Standard Poodle. He was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as he just got too old for them to sell. He arrived safely into our rescue tonight with his 3 siblings thanks to many volunteers. More updates soon from his foster home! 9/29/22-Althea has been warming up to me the past couple days! I can tell she wants to be my friend & you can see the fear is leaving her eyes. It is gonna take some time to get her to trust humans after 4 years of neglect in the puppy mill but it will be sooo worth it! If you have a quiet home and patience to continue the work, ask for Althea!
