11/2/22-Unfortunately as Juniper settles in she is showing she can be very dominant with the other dogs in her foster home. She has started fights over toys & other random times. For this reason we feel Juniper needs to be an only dog now.

10/30/22-Juniper is doing very well in her foster home. Today she finally allowed me to pet her! Before this she would come up/kiss my hand but back away if I tried to pet her. She’s a funny little one as she’s always close to me but before today was too afraid to let me pet her. Today she got belly rubs, ear rubs, head scratches etc. It is so wonderful to watch her transition into a confident family pet. She will need a patient family who is willing to invest some time winning her over.
Juniper is very good with the other dogs. She doesn’t seem to realize she only weighs 23 pounds. She loves to wrestle with my 1 1/2 year old English Bulldog. In her mind she is at least as big as he is if not bigger.
Juniper has had a few accidents in the house but is close to being housebroken. Her crate is always clean and dry… though sometimes it’s full of the toys she collects lol. She has adjusted very well to our routine. Juniper is ready for a family of her own that is willing to be patient as she learns to trust.

10/23/22-In keeping with the theme of naming foster dogs after plants/trees/flowers we would like to introduce Juniper! I’m not even sure where to begin with this fabulous Frenchie girl! Juniper (Juni) is very sweet.
Juniper is bit shy with humans right now but has made great progress in just a few days. This morning she finally allowed me to give her some pets without moving away. She’s a funny one though as even though she didn’t know how to accept pets prior to this she always hangs out very close to me.

So far no accidents in the house and her crate has been clean/dry. We are off to a great start on housebreaking. Juni loves running/playing outside but is definitely more mellow. When she’s had enough she will just find a spot and take a power nap.
Juni is great with the other dogs and would do well in a home with a canine companion. More updates as we get to know her better.
10/21/22-Juniper is an sweet 2 year old female French bulldog. She was saved from a puppy mill as they were done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue today thanks to her transport volunteers. Updates from her foster home soon!
