11/22/22-Just wanted to send another update now that Chloe is spayed. She did great with surgery and is home at the foster doing well. She’s been here just about a month. No aggression with food, ears, paws, tails, etc. She is still very skittish with humans, but is becoming curious and will come sniffing when we have friends or family over. If it’s just our family she lays where we are now instead of under the bed. Chloe is a ball of energy, loves to play with her dog mates, and has fun with dog toys. She is potty trained, and will now cry and pace when she needs to go out. She really is a sweet pup, who does love to get kisses and hugs if you pick her up. In her pictures she does look big but she weighs in at only about 30 pounds. Don’t miss out on this sweetie!

11/11/22-So, we have had a bit of a change with Chloe. At first she didn’t even acknowledge the cats then she became curious and was just just kinda sniffing, and now yesterday and today she’s been chasing and attacking. I’m not entirely sure it’s safe for her to be with cats anymore at this point.

Chloe will need a cat-free home in her future

11/5/22-So Chloe, she is a very fun pup!She absolutely loves her dog mates and will follow their lead. She loves babies and young kids. She is still very skittish of adults and older kids that chase and make loud noises. There is absolutely no aggression in that though. She will just run and hide. Never a growl, or mean act.We are an active family and every time we have people over it sets her back with all the chaos.  However, if you pick her up she loves the attention and cuddles.  She struggles with eating in loud active places. We have to place her bowl under the table and sit away from it. Chloe has started to whine when she needs to go outside and potty. She is crate trained but will cry if left alone. Again she thrives off her dog mates. With the cats she has started to play and poke at them which our cats are okay with. She’s a puppy still so loves to chew everything and anything-Toys, clothes, dishes. Chloe would do great in a family with at least another dog & baby or young child. Her spay is on 11/21 & she will be ready to be matched to her new home then.

10/29/22-On to day 3! Chloe is still super skittish with people, but has started playing with the dogs, and their toys. She is eating regularly and still shows no sign of aggression with that. She does however need to eat with no one running or coming around her or she will stop eating. She’s only had two accidents in the house. Chloe loves to give kisses especially to babies. She really is a sweetheart. Her little personality is starting to come out. When I showered and put the towel down I went to get out and she had ran away with the towel. She loves to run and jump through the leaves as well.

10/27/22-Chloe had a rough first night. She did great with the animals, and going outside. She was super restless though so we put her in the crate and she yelped all night with many attempts and tactics to calm her. Chloe has shown no aggression towards the kids, cats or dogs, but definitely has a deep bark. No aggression while eating, but she still hasn’t eaten a whole lot. She is very skittish right now, fast movements or attempts to pet her scares her and she runs. She is very curious, seems to respond well to her new name, and when she’s comfortable gives lots of love. Also, I feel her pictures make her look big but she is a peanut.

10/26/22-Chloe is a very cute female 6 month old tri-colored Mini Aussie (miniature Australian shepherd). She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill just because she became too old for them to sell. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport volunteers. She will need to be spayed before she can find her new home. Updates soon from her foster home.
