11/24/22-Happy Thanksgiving,Peanut is doing amazing. He is gaining confidence and showing more curiosity! Overall he is sweet, attentive boy who already mastered sit and down. The leash is still distracting and not his favorite but he will now go out easily and potties without much debate about having the leash on. He is currently being given 3 smaller meals a day as food was not an interest to him. He does better with smaller amounts more frequently. He is a big fan of the World Cup and loves watching the matches with us all!
He does have a small umbilical hernia but it is not bothering him. At least 2 others in his litter have one too, so it may be they had a genetic predisposition for it. Sometimes by 4 months old these hernias repair on their own. If not your vet may decide to repair it at the time of neutering when he is older.
11/21/22-Peanut is a 13 week old purebred Airedale Terrier that was saved from a puppy mill as he just got too old to sell. He arrived safely into our rescue tonight along with 2 of his siblings thanks his transport volunteers. He is super curious but very unsure of house living just yet. More updates soon from his foster home.
