1/25/23-Rosie became my foster on Saturday. She easily went into her crate. It took her a bit to relax, as is typical of mill mommas. I am allowing her to move about the house as she likes, always leaving her crate open. She has been sleeping in her crate every night without whining or barking. I have not heard her bark at this point. She has allowed me to pick her up and cuddle her wrapped in a blanket. Last night I picked up a sweater for her to help her relax. Rosie does not mess in her crate and has only had one potty accident in the house. Rosie is a sweet girl who will need patience and lots of love. I look forward to her coming into her personality. Check back for more updates as Rosie discovers her safe surroundings.
1/21/23-From Rosie’s overnight volunteer: What a sweetheart! When she comes out of her shell she’s going to make a wonderful addition to someone’s family. Not gonna lie, I got attached very quickly and didn’t want to let her go!
1/20/23-Rosie is a 5 year old gorgeous blue Merle tri color female mini aussie (miniature Australian shepherd). She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue today thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers. More updates from her foster home soon!No (no history)
