1/29/23-Theodore is doing great. He has TONS of puppy energy, and rarely sits still! LOL He requires lots of toys and stimulation and exercise to keep him busy, otherwise he gets into mischief. He loves a snuffle mat; it keeps him busy for a while as well as tires him out. He loves to be outside, running with the other dogs, and is doing really well with leash training, and potty training. He goes to the door asking to go out, for the most part. He sleeps in his crate at night and he’s in it when we leave the house, and he seems to like it. He is a very affectionate, sweet, attention seeking little boy, who is my shadow where ever I go. We are working on manners, but with all his energy it’s a little tricky. He has mastered sitting for his treat when he comes inside. He’s a smart little guy that is eager to please. His neuter is coming up on 2/7 so he will be ready to go home soon!
1/24/23-Theo is doing great, he has adapted very well. He is very outgoing, curious, and playful. He’s the cutest little thing, and he’s as sweet as he is cute. He often comes up to me, asking for a hug then goes back to playing when he’s had enough love. He does like to be held, but he’s a very busy, so not for long. He loves our dogs, and he would be great with a playmate in his new home to help keep him busy. We do crate Theo at night, and when we leave the house, he doesn’t mind it at all; he likes his safe space. He is doing very well potty training, and he has accepted being on a leash very well. His neuter is scheduled for 2/7 so he will be ready to be matched to his new home then!
1/21/23-Theodore is a cute 5 month old mini bernedoodle (miniature poodle/bernese mountain dog). He was turned over from a puppy mill as he just got too old to sell. He arrived safely into our rescue tonight thanks his transport volunteers. More updates soon from his foster home.
