3/14/23-Maggie is fitting in and learning a lot. She’s been going outside to potty. She loves playing in the snow with the other dogs.
She discovered her reflection in the window and thought it was another dog. She wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. LOL
She still is warming up to people but she loves laying on the couch and will fall asleep on your lap. Maggie went to the vet for her pre-spay appointment today. Her ears had a bit of an infection and they gave some ointment to use for 10 days. Her appointment is for 3/21 Tuesday to get spayed & she can go home after that. Soon my foster dog will find a new home! ❤️

2/16/23-Maggie made her first trip to the barn this evening.  She is doing great with walking on leash.  She was remarkably calm when coming nose to nose with my daughters pony.  It was too cute to not snap a picture of. There were lots of horses and different smells, noises and people. She’s such a good girl.. quickly becoming one of my favorite fosters!

2/12/23-Maggie is slowly coming out of her shell. We are enjoying watching her sweet and silly personality emerge.  She is so patient and smart. I am amazed at her transformation with leash walking. She puts herself in her crate when she’s tired/had enough of my dogs; which she is great with.  She does this funny little roll when she wants them to play. She’s great with the kids(teenagers).  Really seems to enjoy them and follows them around. She pays no attention to the cats.  We are working on potty training but she seems to get the concept of where the  doors is. She sleeps through the night and her little snore (my husband says she snores like a sailor haha) is the cutest thing.  She is going to make a great companion for someone looking for a smaller dog with a personality that will make you smile.

2/11/23-Maggie is very sweet.  Enjoyed the ride home to her foster home.  She and my dogs are getting along well, doesn’t seem phased by my cats, likes the crate, followed the kids around, had her pill (only spit it out once-LOL) and has finally eaten a little food.  She was tolerant of me putting her sweatshirt on her and she is just too cute in it.  Making a great first night impression.

2/10/23-Maggie is a cute 4 year old red & white female Boston terrier. She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue today thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers. More updates from her foster home soon!
