2/27/23-Ginger continues to do very well. She no longer cries when put in her crate and night and sleeps through the night and has a clean create in the morning. She loves nothing more than to follow me around the house and snuggle up on the couch. She is not a playful dog, she will grab a toy but prefers to just be in my lap. She  would do best with someone who can give her the love, attention, and cuddles she craves.

2/22/23-Ginger is doing well but she is starting to chase my cat. I’m not sure if she wants to play or what her intention is.  Maybe she just isn’t into cats. Lol.  My cat is young and can run and jump away from her. and doesn’t get bothered by it. For this reason we feel she needs a home without cats. Otherwise Ginger has adjusted the quickest and best of all my mill fosters. She has been the easiest of them all! Just love her & I know her new home will too.

2/20/23-Ginger had her shots & pre-spay appointment & actually weighs 17 lbs.   Just a few updates too on Ginger. Right now she doesn’t interact at all with my dogs (they are old and not fun anyways LOL) and she doesn’t care to interact with my parents’ dogs either. She met my friends standard golden doodle and was quite scared. I think she would be content as an only dog as long as she has “her person.”  She is very mellow and would do best in a calm home. She is really so incredibly sweet and has been so good.  Ginger will be spayed on Thursday 3/2 & will be ready to be matched to her new home then.

2/17/23-Ginger is off to a great start.  She is very sweet and has become my shadow. As soon as I sit on the couch she jumps in my lap and covers me with kisses. She definitely enjoys being a lap dog. She barks and howls for a few minutes when she is put to bed, but then sleeps through the night and has a clean crate in the morning. She is doing very well with house training. She occasionally growls at the cat, but has not gone after him or tried to hurt him in any way.  She will go to the vet on Monday for her vaccines and to get her spay scheduled. She is a smart, affectionate girl who is doing great at adjusting to this new life.
2/16/23-Ginger has arrived!  She is a 3 year old mini goldendoodle that was rescued today from a puppy mill. She is very small at only 14 pounds.  She got a bath and has been exploring the house. She has found that the couch is very comfy and that treats are very tasty. More pictures and updates to come!

2/16/23-Ginger is a petite 3 year old female mini goldendoodle (miniature poodle/golden retriever) saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they were just done breeding her. She arrived today to her foster home & looks like had a haircut at some point. She just had her birthday 2 days ago so what a great birthday gift to Ginger to now be free! She has her shots & pre-spay appointment on Monday 2/20 & then we will schedule her spay as soon as possible. Once she is spayed & we get to know her better then she will be able to be matched to her new home. More updates from her foster home soon!
