2/19/23-Shadow was weighed today & he’s already 19 lbs at only about 14 weeks old! He is definitely not a mini but more like a Moyen (aka: medium) bernedoodle (Moyen poodle/bernese mountain dog). He’s most likely going to be around 65 lbs full grown, so not a match for those looking for or needing a smaller dog due to weight restrictions. Doesn’t make him any less adorable though!

2/18/23-Day3. I had a busy day today. I went to the spa and got washed, trimmed, my nails done, ears cleaned. Everyone told me how handsome I looked. I had my foster mom take some pics, I hope she got my good side. Today I ran out of my crate to go outside and to potty .It was a nice morning to  play with my foster siblings- a black lab and a yellow lab.  We have fun running around and chasing each other. We run around so much I tire them out. Next it’s time  for breakfast, so I  followed  them right through the doggy door. After all of the playing it’s time for a nap. I am working on sit and stay, but It takes time. I am just full of energy and don’t have time to sit and stay. Tomorrow’s another day.

2/17/23-This beautiful boy is Shadow, and loves his doggie foster siblings. He is doing well with crate training, potty training, and working on simple commands. He’s a beautiful dog, and will be going for a spa day soon. He loves his morning snuggles.

2/16/23-Shadow is adjusting slowly. Right now he’s very quiet & afraid to come out of the cage. He is eating and drinking though. I’ve had him outside & he is going to the bathroom out there. I may try to give him a bath tomorrow.

2/15/23-Shadow is an adorable 13 week old male mini bernedoodle (miniature poodle/bernese mountain dog). He was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as he just got too old to sell. He arrived safely into our rescue tonight thanks to his transport volunteers. More updates from his foster home soon!
