3/3/23-Jane is settling in nicely, though a little timid and skittish at times right now. When she is playful she is puppylike, eager to engage with her 3 bigger foster brothers! She is beginning to eat and enjoys rotisserie chicken! Everything about her is sweet and gentle. She is compliant such as during ear cleaning. Not a bit aggressive. She sleeps soundly all night (not in the crate) and hasn’t had any accidents in the house nor has chewed things she shouldn’t. If given the opportunity she will try to escape out the front door which we are working on. We are also working on leash walking and I don’t anticipate much difficulty. I think she would benefit from a 4 legged companion even though she is always on our heels, the other dogs seem to add to her confidence. Jane is a very sweet girl!

2/28/23-Jane was spayed yesterday & is up to 46 lbs now. The vet said she still needs to gain a little weight.  We estimate she will be closer to 50 lbs once filled out. She is now at her actual foster home. Once we get to know her a little better she will be ready to be matched to her new home!

2/24/23-Jane is just a really nice dog & doing wonderful at her temporary foster spot.  She rode great in the back seat of my car with foster girl Shelby for the hour a half ride home in the storm on Wednesday night. She is very friendly not at all skittish.  She follows me wherever I go, a real sweetheart!

02/22/23-Jane is a very sweet 4 year old female Standard Poodle. She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they just got done breeding her. She arrived safely into our rescue tonight thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers during a very bad storm. She is being spayed on 2/27 & will be ready to be matched to her new home soon once we get to know her better.  More updates soon from her foster home!
