3/17/23-Peaches is doing great! She is warming up to my husband a lot & now going to him for attention! Playing with our dog Coco now too. Adjusting very well & ready to go home this week!
3/16/23-Peaches is enjoying life outside the mill & she loves to run! In the yard of course! LOL She is doing much better with my husband & not afraid. I think she just likes me better! LOL I’ve left the house with him in charge & no problems. I really don’t see a problem with even a man as her number one. She’s also now playing with toys! Peaches also answers to her new name too. This is a very sweet & smart girl & ready to be match to her new home now as she’s being spayed on Monday.
3/13/23-Peaches is very sweet, loves to be petted especially now that her thick matts are gone. She’s fine with our dog Coco, who plays too rough. Coco is taller and 20 lbs heavier but Peaches holds her own, neither gets mean though. It took me all day to cut her hair but she dozed off and loved it, I only used scissors. ( I was a hairdresser for 14 years before being a nurse for >30). Her haircut is a bit choppy but I didn’t want to shave her. The yard is fenced, she has pottied outside since she got here with no accidents in the house so far. She’s crate resistant but accepts if I stay in the room. I keep the crate door open, she only walked in to get a toy, then back out. She’s curious. No children here, but I don’t think she would have a problem with kids over 4 as she’s very good girl. Peaches is still skittish with my husband but she has already bonded with me & follows me everywhere! She gets mesmerized when she watches TV. She’s watching Cesar Milan right now. LOL
3/8/22-Peaches is a sweet 1.5 year old moyen(aka: medium) goldendoodle (moyen poodle/golden retriever). She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they decided to just not breed her. She arrived safely into our rescue tonight thanks her overnight & transport volunteers. She will be spayed on Monday 3/20. Once she is spayed she will be ready to go to her new home.
