3/20/23 – This little boy came into rescue just in time to celebrate St. Patty’s Day so he was named Quigley – which means “unruly hair” in Gaelic.  Quigley was such a good boy getting a bath, just a little nervous with the blow dryer.  He’s let me brush him several times too and is such a happy-go-lucky boy!  A typical bouncy & playful puppy, who has no fear when playing with my tall, 75# boxer boy!  He’s been quite brave – investigating inside and outside the house and welcomed himself up on the couch with me.  That being said, he does like to follow me wherever I go.  Since he’s been around other dogs his whole life, I moved his crate next to my bed for overnite and he did better than I expected without a warm body by his side.  A little bit of whining at first but settled after ~10mins and quiet ‘til morning!  He’s eating and drinking fine, and toys & ice cubes get his attention for a few mins (puppy brain!).  We are diligently working on house breaking and he’s starting to understand command words like outside, potty, no, etc.!  Lucky puppy, lucky new furever family to be!!

3/17/23-Quiqley is an adorable 16 week old male mini bernedoodle (miniature poodle/bernese mountain dog). He was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as he just got too old to sell. He arrived safely into our rescue tonight thanks to his transport & overnight volunteers. We estimate his will get to be about 50 lbs full grown. More updates from his foster home soon!
