3/20/23-Tonka is the sweetest moosh ever!! She adores kids (four kids ages 2-12), is curious but does well with the cats, was introduced to the baby chicks with no issues, one even flew on her head 😂. She did wonderful in the bath. She is going outside every 2-3 hours and directly after meals but is still working on house training. She spent the night in her kennel, threw a tantrum until I sat with her and she settled down and fell asleep right after. Her and our 1 yr old pup Tucker are hilarious romping around the house together. And she mastered stairs already!! Over all she is a sweet curious girl that loves to snuggle with her people and adores a comfy spot on the couch next to you.
3/18/23-Tonka enjoys the company of humans and other dogs. When we got to her overnight foster home she played all night, gobbled up hard food, and treats. She definitely will have minimal to no decompress time. That tail just kept wagging! She is one happy baby. She was dropped off this morning to a volunteer who will be transporting her and a few other dogs this morning to their foster homes. Thank you to all the volunteers who transported her safety to us last night and to those who are transporting her to her foster home. More updates soon from her foster home.
03/17/23-Tonka is a giant sweetheart of an 18 week old Standard Sheepadoodle (Standard Poodle/Old English Sheepdog) that was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as she just got too old for them to sell. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks her transport & overnight volunteers. She is a very big girl already weighing 39 lbs & we estimate she will be around 90 lbs full grown!
