4/02/23-Athena is a sweet pup. She took well to all my dogs, paid no mind to the cats and loves the kids. I took Athena on a walk yesterday and she did amazing on the leash. Stayed by my side, never tugged, I actually barely held the leash. She was great with people and dogs passing. She had a few accidents but is going out in a backyard regularly. I have not introduced her to eating around the other dogs yet but so far no signs of issues.
4/01/23-Athena is so sweet & a big girl! She has her spay this Friday 4/7 & should be ready to go home soon after.
03/31/23-Athena is a stunning 2.5 year old female Standard Goldendoodle (Standard poodle/Golden Retriever). She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers. We are working on getting her an appointment to be spayed. Once we get to know her better & she is spayed then she can be matched to her new home. More updates from her foster home soon!
