4/16/23-Unfortunately after having Piper just over a week her new family had to bring her back today to find another home. Their 4 year old son turned out to be severely allergic to dogs when living with one. The were very sad to bring Piper back & said she’s a wonderful puppy – so sweet and calm. More updates soon!
4/7/23-Piper was adopted!
4/4/23-Piper had such a great day yesterday out in the fresh air playing with her dog and child friends. We went for a short walk and worked on leash skills. We continue to work on potty training and her nemesis, the crate!
4/4/23-We have determined these doodle babies have to be minis & not standard size. They are too tiny for their age & are estimated to be only around 35 lbs full size.
4/3/23-Piper is hands down the sweetest and smartest puppy! Oh wait.. did I say cutest? CUTEST!! She loves nothing more than to be by your side snuggling, sleeping, sitting, etc. She is not a fan of the crate. She would much rather be with her people or new canine friends. Which leads me to confirm that she has had interactions with cats, dogs and kids and loves them all. Does not present timid in any way. She is eating like a champ. She loves to be outside bouncing around. We are working on potty training; which I am certain with consistency will happen in no time.
I feel so fortunate to be able to foster this girl. She is going to make someone a great companion.
4/01/23-The girls Piper (white) and Muppet are fed, watered and bathed after some play and a nap. Sweet as pie. They weigh 15 lbs so its estimated they should be around 60 lbs full grown.
03/31/23-Piper is a sweet 13 week old female standard aussiedoodle (standard poodle/Australian shepherd). She was saved along with her 3 siblings from being killed by a puppy mill as they just got too old to sell. They arrived safely into our rescue tonight thanks to their transport & overnight volunteers. More updates from her foster home soon!
