04/21/23-Maeve is a beautiful 14 week old boxer. She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill along with her 4 sisters as they just got too old to sell. She arrived safely into rescue late tonight thanks to her transport volunteers. Maeve arrived at her foster home Saturday morning along with Mina one of her littermates. Big thanks to Mary Louise and family who picked them up for me Friday and kept them overnight. Maeve is a very sweet boxer girl. She is solid and the biggest of the litter. It’s funny because nobody expects her to be as heavy as she is. Maeve is pretty fearless. When I brought them home I put her in the house then ran back to the truck to get Mina by the time I came back in a minute later she was halfway up the stairs ready to go check out her new digs. She found the toys right away, ran around the yard right away etc. Simply a happy well adjusted pup! We are working on housebreaking and all the needed puppy manners. Maeve is respectful of the adult dogs and has a great disposition. I’ll try to get a weight on her tomorrow. More updates coming soon!
