5/25/23-Yoli is amazingly sweet and since realizing that people can love her, that is all she is interested in. She just wants to sit with her people. She was spayed yesterday & all went well.  We have found she hates the crate right now & destroyed it to escape. We added carabiners to try to keep it together but she may need either an extra heavy duty one or someone who will not crate her.  She is not interested in other dogs but is comfortable with other calm dogs (her and my 10 y/o boxer pit cross just hang together on the couch). She is less fond of more energetic dogs (like my 1 year old) but I think that will come with time as she doesn’t really know how to “dog” very well. The more she hangs out, the better she gets. If she doesn’t like the attention from the dogs, she simply turns away.
She is great with my kids (teens) and would do fine with kids over 4 as she is very gentle. The only caveat is that she doesn’t understand how furniture works or that she is so big so we are teaching her she can go on the couch but not the side table! LOL She has not had an accident in the house but we take her out all the time. It does take her a while to pee, etc. but she is getting faster every day. She is rather interested in the cat. She saw him in the house and tried to run to him. Not sure if it was just to check him out or more but we are monitoring and she is very responsive to redirection for affection.
Yoli is super gentle on leash and lives to walk next to you. If she hits the end of the leash she immediately comes back to check in with you.
All of the pics we tried to take are blurry or horrible because as soon as you get near her she just comes over for pets. We are going to try and take her cone off tonight as she’s doing really well and get more pictures. She will make an amazing pet- super gentle, super affectionate, so gentle and I’m so so happy that she was rescued. I can’t imagine how anyone would not want this sweetheart.

5/19/23-Yoli is a beautiful 2 year old female Standrard Labradoodle (Standard Poodle/Labrador Retriever). She was saved from being killed by a puppy mill as they were just done breeding her. She arrived safely into rescue today thanks to her transport & overnight volunteers. We hope to have a spay date soon. Once we get to know Yoli a little more & she is spayed she will be ready to go home. More updates from her foster home soon.
