3/31/25-Happy 2 week birthday to Jovie’s 8 beautiful boxer babies! We got a huge surprise when Jovie went in for her spay & the vet found out she was pregnant with at least 8 puppies! She gave birth on 3/17/25 (St. Patrick’s Day) to a whopping 11 boxer puppies.  Sadly 2 were stillborn & 1 didn’t survive long but she has 8 healthy puppies doing great.  Her wonderful foster parents Tony & Jessica have been on top of everything with vet calls & visits & bottle feeding supplementally the babies since Jovie is still not producing enough milk. Her babies will be 8 weeks old on Monday May 12th when they can go home. Jovie should be able to be spayed a few weeks after that & then she can go to her new home too.

2/12/25-Jovie’s spay had to be postponed. Her next vet check up is Wednesday 3/5 when we will get an update. Right now we are not able to consider possible homes for her.

2/11/25-Jovie is settling in nicely! She loves to hang out in her crate and is completely unbothered by the other dogs and cats in the house. She’s doing great on the leash and is getting the hang of going outside. She has her spay tomorrow. We’re still working on mealtime—she’s very interested in our food but not so much in hers. Hopefully, she’ll warm up to it soon! She’s such a sweet girl, and we’re loving getting to know her!

02/07/25-Jovie is a gorgeous & sweet 3 year old female reversed brindle boxer that came in today from a commercial breeder as they just didn’t need her anymore. She arrived safely into rescue tonight thanks to her transport & overnight foster volunteers. She has an ear infection she is being treated for. Jovie is being spayed next Wednesday & will be ready for her new home soon after.
